Very difficult to attach. The small buttons used to attach the buttons to the backpack are very easy to bend and snap into place. I broke 3 of these just to attach a button and even the one I attached was only halfway into the button before it bent and couldn't be hammered any further. Also, the packaging is very weak. The glue holding the package together broke off during shipping, so I received a box with buttons scattered around, completely empty. Also, the buttons look pretty when you put them on. However, expect their attachment to be painful.
