My husband FINALLY finished putting it together and it doesn't fit in the space I chose for him. I needed a vertical storage solution for a small closet and it didn't fit. I was frustrated and thought maybe I didn't measure correctly or didn't think some things through, so I grabbed a tape measure. The listing says 16.9 inches wide. It's 17.4 inches. It may not be a make or break option for most people, but it doesn't fit at all in the closet I intended it for. Now I have nowhere to put it and I'm afraid to tell my husband to take it apart so I'll probably keep it to myself and put it in a prominent place which I hate. Pooh.
