Review on LG 40WP95C-W UltraWide Thunderbolt Borderless Monitor with Dual Controller, On Screen Control, Wide Color Gamut and 5120X2160P Resolution by William Pettis

Received this monitor today. Revain double boxed it because the monitor box was badly damaged and a whole corner was torn off. Too bad Revain tried to hide the damaged box with a duplicate box and didn't alert me to the problem. Luckily the monitor works perfectly. In a few days I will decide whether to keep it for myself or ask for an exchange. At the same time, the monitor delivers an excellent picture. It was easy to assemble without tools. The picture is bright, much brighter than some complain, at least for my taste. It's the perfect monitor for productivity: I can see a much longer timeline in my digital audio or video workstation applications. In spreadsheets I see many more columns without scrolling. In the mail client I also see a lot more information. I've tried a few games and the monitor in it is great. I see more of the virtual world in MMOs. I don't play games that require ultra-high refresh rates, so this LG ultra-wide monitor works well for me at 72Hz. By the way, MS Flight Simulator looks phenomenal on such a wide screen. Overall I highly recommend it at the moment.
