A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

It's been about a year since I first entertained the idea of upgrading my MacBook Pro 2022 Mid to a new model. Over the course of that year, I read reviews, considered the benefits and drawbacks of several options, and ultimately came to the decision that there was no need to make the switch. The buyer in me expected to experience new feelings after purchasing an Apple product, but the rationalist in me questioned "why?" when my current partner fulfills all of my needs in every way. I would have been more than pleased to discover something wrong with it, to find a reason why I absolutely require a new Mac, but there was none. And then, all of a sudden, on November 13, Apple announced the MacBook 16, finally pumping it in all of the parameters that users had been waiting for and, as it turns out, I was waiting for as well) An enlarged display, speakers that do not wheeze at high volume, a keyboard with larger buttons, and finally a serious graphics card in the base model. Last but not least, I had multiple justifications for purchasing it all at once. I cannot say that the Pro 2022 seemed to me like a piece of junk in comparison, not at all. Furthermore, I realized that despite all the features of the new MacBook, including a much faster processor and a larger screen, which are most important to me, this will not greatly increase my efficiency (I am engaged in development and design), and the old man is still relevant. I can't say that the Pro 2022 seemed to me like a piece of junk in comparison, not at all. On the whole, however, I can say that I am content. The video card is more productive, maybe 8 times, and this is quite satisfying. It is silent, and it does not bother the YouTube video that is featured in FullHD, which for some reason made the old guy warm up and yell madly (even my phone is calm in such situations). The fact that the processor is 5% faster than the one in my desktop 7700K is surprising to me, but the comparison itself is not. The touchbar is a very neat feature. On the old man, the only button on the top row that I ever used was the mute button, and I only used it a few times a day. I would occasionally adjust the volume, and I would change the screen brightness a few times a week, but those were the only times I used those buttons. In point of fact, I was unable to use these keys in any way. Now, I have already found dozens of different ways that the panel can be utilized. And obviously the sound, which is booming and of excellent quality.

Pros
  • - the display - the audio system - the touchbar - Esc :) - quiet
