Used it on a 2004 Toyota Tacoma 3.4L V6 with 210,000 miles - like magic

2004 Toyota Tacoma 3.4L V6 - I turned on the check engine light for cylinder 3 misfiring and started testing the very rough idle on start up. Not at all pleasant! The local shop diagnosed a cracked head that was causing coolant to seep into that single cylinder. I didn't want to put a lot of money into a truck with 210,000 miles on it. (The store tip was: do nothing, don't waste money, anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000 or $8,000 for an engine change.) My truck never overheated, the oil never turned into a milkshake, and it never had white exhaust smoke, very rough idle and a check engine light. I heard about this product from a colleague and then did some research online including an explanation from Chris Fix of how this product actually works. No, that's not snake oil in a can. I took the time to call Bar's Leaks customer service and a helpful customer service rep told me that my truck would be a good candidate for an HG-1 supplement. (The person on the phone was very patient, helpful, and clearly helped me.) I took notes while we chatted and then ordered a bottle. What did I have to lose? I followed the instructions exactly - poured an almost full bottle straight into the radiator (not the expansion tank), started the car for 15 minutes, let it cool for half an hour, added coolant and clicked retry. The next day driving light and nice the check engine light went out, wow! I. Rough idle has stopped. I get in the truck on day three and will relax for another day or two before opening it on the freeway. This product did exactly what I hoped it would. I hope this fix gets me an extra 15-100k miles. I am happy. If I could give six stars I would. Do your homework and make sure you follow the instructions in the t-shirt. This worked for me. Update a week later: 1000 miles later: all good.
