This is great. It's hard to find sockets like this with a plug at the bottom (but due to gravity, I plugged it in anyway). The reason I needed a plug at the bottom is because the top outlets in the devices that use them are controlled by a wall switch (which I didn't want). They are reliable and inexpensive. I highly recommend. One caveat - you must use a center faucet with them, note that "Decor" sockets do not have a screw in the center. It didn't bother me. *If* you still need a decorative look (even if these items completely cover the outlet) then this is something to consider
