A great alternative to the Philips color strip. I wanted a glowing stripe for the back of my TV. I have a smartthings smart home and I found a workaround to manage it i.e. create multiple virtual switches and use ifttt tasks to run each of them in Magic Home Pro app. The application is quite easy to use, setup was quick, in just a few minutes. Voice commands work the same as in Philips Hue. I had 0 problems. I love colors, children love colors. Example. When I arrive the light turns to 100% BLUE telling the wife and children that I stopped in the street and most of the time they are excited and come to greet me. (They're young, so I'll enjoy them while they last.) Lots of features, and they work great with Alexa app tasks like "good morning" and "goodbye." Create your own light sequences in the app. There are also many fun tasks you can do through ifttt. All in all not a bad little $14 bulb compared to a colored $50 bulb. i will get more I will say that the tint bulbs (I have 6 of them, white and colored) make it really easy to set up routines through smart things without all the extra backdoor triggers, but I couldn't beat that price point. If money wasn't an issue I'd have a HUE, but I'm trying to stretch my bucks on that. It is great.
