Ready to install, but loud like a NAS.

I bought this to replace a 2 disk RAID array that my system couldn't always find. I thought the spikes were damaged but when I inserted them into this block they immediately popped out. I added two more drives and created an 8TB RAID 10 block. Since this device has a fan for cooling, this can be annoying. Unfortunately, when I turn off the computer, the fan keeps running and I have to turn off the device manually. In addition, the blue plastic shell inside the lid can be removed for better air circulation through the side ventilation openings.
