I think my rating is realistic. I looked at all the different products and all the reviews, good and bad. I have a huge laptop and wanted something that would fit inside and still leave room for my mouse to sit comfortably next to it. This product is the perfect size! Now I'll say I dismissed the option of finding a vented tray or one with a fan, but then I decided I probably wouldn't need it anyway. Either way, using this tablet is like using it on a desk, and my laptop works great on it. I've read reviews that complained about the tray falling when set down. I don't mean my comment to be rude but to be honest I didn't expect something like this to hold up on a soft surface like a bed or sofa. The legs fold easily, so if I need to get up I just quickly fold them up without removing my laptop and put it aside. Problem solved. This also makes it easy to store away. Another thing I noticed after reading other product reviews is the space under the tray. One person commented on another product that it was a little tight so consider if you are the taller person. I will say that this particular tray offers a lot of leg room! I don't really need the height adjustment (the side of the tablet that tilts up), but I can see that it's comfortable for my Kindle, reading or writing material in bed or on the couch. There are multiple height adjustment options and a metal bar keeps it in place without slipping. I didn't screw on the cup holder, it seems handy, but I wasn't ready to take on that part just yet. The price is great for the product you get. I am very happy with mine!
