I was very excited to try this. This is a beautiful and very portable microphone. I started trying it in the car. I had a bit of trouble finding a transmitter that worked well, but I'm pretty sure part of that was because we couldn't figure out how to manually enter a frequency into the machine. We found an option that worked well - you tune the car and mic to the same station, pair the mic to the phone and you're done. I downloaded a popular karaoke app and got to work. It works with any karaoke app, or you can even play the karaoke version of songs on Spotify (or similar) and do it like this. I couldn't try it until my kids took it away from me. They were happy to take turns playing with him in the back seat and they especially liked the sound effects. I recently found that I can use the extra cable that came with it to connect to speakers and other devices. This makes it very useful for karaoke outside of the car as well. You can use it for party etc. Overall it's really cool and fun - kids LOVE it.
