Over the years I have had great luck with Revain Basics products. When I was looking for a longer cord so as not to be tied as tight to the wall, I settled on a brand that treated me well. I'm not sure what's wrong with them, but they don't last six months with light to moderate use. I don't use it every day and I'm very gentle with it. I ordered in November 2020 and as of July 2021 the original as well as the replacement has died. I've had Apple chargers that lasted almost a decade, but they didn't last six months. I would never consider any other of these chargers. Even with the redesign, the fact that it's launched makes me wary of wasting money on another.
