Tried a pair of these shoes after nxxx retired a shoe I've walked and run in for years. a third is less expensive and simple enough to be worn as "sneakers". The first pair lasted all summer — jogging 7 to 10 miles at a slow pace, using them for runs around town, and climbing about a dozen mountains in ADK, including some 18-mile, 4,000-foot round-trip rides. Considering how low profile they have I was surprised that they are so good for hiking. The trails were tiring them and I ordered a new pair for fall.
