The buckle makes this product unusable
The buckle is misplaced making it impossible to write on a flat surface, the buckle turns pages on the left. However, I'm giving 3 stars because I pulled the buckle out and now use it to hold the two notebooks together around the full perimeter of both notebooks. I take it off and set it aside when I want to use notepads, best of both worlds. I know this is not the intended use for this product but it works better than advertised.
