Review on 👕 Conair Turbo Extreme Steam Handheld Fabric Steamer - White/Champagne, One Size by Bennie Wilks

I really like the machine when it's working properly. After several uses, the device spits out water instead of steam. I called Conair support and they said that even distilled water will scale and you should do this monthly. Fill the tank with 1/2 vinegar 1/2 distilled water. Switch on until steam comes out. Then switch off for 1/2 hour. Then let it run until the tank is empty. Then fill in distilled water and run again to get rid of the vinegar smell. I asked why this information is not in the instructions. She said that's why we have our phone number to find out. This is unacceptable. If you need to do this monthly or more often, it should be listed in the printed guide. Consumers need to know this before they buy their product. Conair is very concerned that they are not informing their customers about this.
