But those who want to get into photography can do significantly worse than Sony's mirrorless ones. The real-time changes you see with manual settings are much more forgiving than trying to learn stop lights and compensating for shutter speed, aperture and ISO on a DSLR. This instant feedback on the LCD and viewfinder also takes the guesswork out of equations and saves you the trouble of constantly adjusting to get things right.
