This beautiful and elegant glass pen exceeded my expectations. This was my first time buying one so didn't really know what to expect but it was a great price, nice and easy to use. The design is even more beautiful in person. Pleasant to grip, not slippery at all. I was concerned about this because it's glass, but it has a spiked pattern that you can hold and it's comfortable and easy to write on. It's durable too, I've accidentally dropped it a few times and not even scratched it! You also get a very large bottle of ink. You only need a little, just a little, so soon I won't need any more. As for the first time using glass inks, they write very smoothly once you get the hang of them. This leaves nice, clear, and bold text with no leg work. This will be a good gift.
