Before buying this wallet, I read several reviews, many mentioned a strange smell called "leather", and that is because it is a genuine leather wallet, made with such care and meticulousness. It's a bit heavy, but again that's because it's real leather, but it's worth the money and will last a while if not forever with proper care. I bought this to match a brown leather wallet I bought recently as all my wallets are black leather. So this is a first time for me and a great purchase if you are considering a purchase.
