These extension tubes didn't work with my D5500 or D7500. I tried each tube individually and in combination on both cameras with 50mm prime and 18-55mm kit lenses. I didn't bother to test with the 35mm prime. The tubes were difficult to mount and remove on both cameras because they were too narrow. I first attached the tube(s) to the camera body and then attached the lens according to the instructions that came with the kit. This manual has been marked as specific to Nikon. Neither camera could focus automatically. I could hear the engines trying to run, but the view was completely blurry. Then I switched to manual focus. I couldn't manually focus the lenses either. The focus did not change even when the focus ring was rotated. I don't know if the set I received had a packaging error or if it was damaged because it was sent in bubble wrap that was badly crumpled on arrival.
