These extension tubes didn't work with my D5500 or D7500. I tried each tube individually and in combination on both cameras with 50mm prime and 18-55mm kit lenses. I didn't bother to test with the 35mm prime. The tubes were difficult to mount and remove on both cameras because they were too narrow.
