I made a mistake purchasing one of these items and have since regretted it!1. Requires constant adjustment. You think you installed it where you want; The next time you invert it, the drip tray will either be full of water (which looks clean) or not foaming/not foaming at all.2. The setting is too sensitive! You set it up roughly where you think it should be, but when setting up the controls, just tap. I'm speaking mm or less, you're beyond what you hoped for.3. After a few days mine started leaking; slow drip. I eventually found out that the leak was due to one of the acrylic seams starting to unravel. I actually read on another forum that their Prizm was leaking and started a fire! It didn't happen to me, but the leak was slow enough that I didn't notice it until the carpet behind the tank was soaked with water.4. After I managed to install it as close as possible to where I wanted it, it still didn't work and I have a 55 gallon tank.5. Eventually, after going through this process and getting it working the way you want, in a few days or less you'll find that it needs adjusting again! They're pretty cheap as a skimmer, but definitely not worth the disappointment in my opinion. , time and effort!
