All sealant removal tools are scams. The plastic ones work well for 30 seconds, then the blades snap. Metal will scratch drywall better than caulk removal. This one is absolutely useless. My $5 Walmart Coleman camping knife works better and I can sharpen it like a box opener blade. An old credit card or a 25-cent guitar pick works just as well for smoothing out caulk as $2 rubber foam.

At the same time, it collapsed into several key sections halfway through the second project. So keep that in mind. This is not a commercial tool for long-term use. I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5 just because of the burr left on the rounded edges of the tool. If it stays on the last bead of gasket it will leave burrs, I don't like that so I deburred the rubber gasket. I know what everyone is thinking, or at least most people are.
