We are currently renting out our apartment and when we moved in we noticed that the owner tried to reseal the bathtub over the old silicone that came out after a few months. Instead of our landlord making the same mistake again, we decided to buy this tool and try it ourselves. The metal part was easy to remove leaving a clean surface for applying new silicone. The rubber nozzle can be rotated to adjust it to the desired roller size. The masking tape helped with the excess silicone and the overall seal is now even and should help keep mold out. .I would recommend this to any homeowner looking to update/clean their bathtub.
