. When I asked the store if they changed the washing machine with every oil change, they told me no and that the old washing machine should be fine. So I decided to change my oil and bought a washing machine from the dealer. I bought 2 washing machines thinking I could use them a couple of times and then replace them when needed. The one I bought from the dealer is a bit loose compared to the old seal for my 2007 Odyssey. It may simply be because it hasn't been crushed yet. I saw these for a very good price so I decided to try them and compare them to my spare washing machine. The size is exactly the same (inner and outer size). I will try this on my next oil change and will change the shim every time since I have 25. This will take me 175,000 miles (7,000 miles x 25).
