So far so good in CCTV gear

I plan to update my review if I can install it at home (when moving to a new location). So far I've tested a few cameras and made sure the setup works. I set it up for visual inspection of my dog from work and am very satisfied. I'll add more pictures and info as I test it and integrate it with Home Assistant (home automation and security solution hosted on Raspberry Pi). They had, they're doing a good job. I believe they are capped at 15 fps, but I haven't been able to test that further. I'm avoiding breaking my first camera configuration as it's the first camera I've connected and working with Home Assistant (listed below). Update 1: Not installed at home yet, but works for me with Home Assistant and MotionEye. I'm planning to tweak the settings a bit more to get the best results, but I can confirm it's possible. I currently have a Raspberry Pi 3B with Home Assistant connected to my main router which has a Hiseeu NVR connected to it. I had to set the encoding on the DVR to H.265X, which appears to be H.264 (I don't understand this nomenclature, but it almost made me return my unit since Home Assistant hates H.265). Then you need to find the IP address of the connected camera as well as the RTSP port (via the RTSP settings under Network->NetService <little blue button>). Using the format: rtsp://ip.ip.ip.ip:RTSPport/ you can pass this to MotionEye (an add-on for Home Assistant) along with the camera's username and password. As well as the Hisseu camera/NVR combo, it does its own motion detection, but so far I don't see a way to send the Hiseeu camera data back to Home Assistant (aka Hassio). This allowed me to take the result from MotionEye and put it into the Picture Glance card in the Hassio toolbar. You can probably disable the middleman and stream straight to the Hassio camera config, or use the browser card and go to the MotionEye page or the Hiseeu camera page, whichever pops up, but for now I've finally been able to get it working for now. . I'll try to update this section to address any technical issues I've encountered and/or resolve as I don't want anyone to miss out on these decent cameras just because I don't have time to dig into the to deal with integration settings .
