Poor design of edge and corner protection
A few years ago I had a similar product that was a molding that was joined down the middle. This poorly designed version requires two corner pieces. The middle section is a flat piece that needs to be folded over and secured in the crease with cheap tape. It then relies on double sided tape to attach it to the surface. The protector falls off every morning and doesn't stick because the middle part wants to open up at the back. A better design would be to make the center the same as the corner pieces which are already formed at a 90 degree angle.
