Review on 🚗 Enhanced Replacement Evaporator (Model: TYC 97049) for Jeep Vehicles by Paarvin Freedman

I have purchased this product twice and installed it on two XJ Jeeps. The first 2001 and the second 1999 had the same problem. The top line of both had connection issues. The neck of the quick connector on this product is the same size, but the lip is larger than the factory one. As a result, the spring on the plug-in part of the quick coupling cannot fold over and snap into place. Both required us to remove the material from the edge to attach the leash. Not something you want to deal with after removing and reinstalling the HVAC box. On the 2001 model, I removed too much material and the spring wouldn't stay in place. I bent the male cord just enough to hold the pressure on the joint and hold the seal. In 1999 we were more meticulous, removing only as much as was necessary. Hope that helps!
