Not ready for rpi4. Good for rpi3.

Bought v3. I have tried very hard to please this device, especially the advertised features. But in the end he is not ready for RPI4. Advantages. For rpi3 it works fine. Seamless. Plug it into the cable, turn it on and it's gone. Provides enough voltage not to trigger a low power warning. Battery life is decent and the removable battery is a plus. minuses. The power connector is in the center of the board, just below the battery. Without lots of double-sided foam tape, you run the risk of piercing the battery or shorting out the terminals. Biggest disadvantage when using with rpi4. I did my best by plugging it directly into the Pi connector using 18 gauge cable, 3 different USBC cables, different power supplies including RPI power supply, different Lipos and 3 different RPI 4s (1GB 4GB 8GB) in every combination of wired and attached cable I could. They all faced the same problems. No Peripherals.1. The battery indicators will rise to 4, then the power indicator will flash briefly and all indicators will turn off. Tried again after a few seconds, same result. Sometimes it boots, but basically it's the above loop.2. Reboots randomly, with no low battery warning. This also happens when it is connected to the wall.3. If it's only on battery, it will randomly crash the Pi itself under heavy loads like booting. The download does not complete. Doesn't happen when plugged in.4. When connected to the rpi4, the battery will never be fully charged. The charge doesn't seem to exceed the power consumed, so while it says it's charging, it doesn't. Without going through the UPS, all the pisi work perfectly. This leads me to believe the problem is an inefficient buck converter or clipping. It says 3a on it, but even with nothing plugged in, at some point it has to think it's overheating, causing an instant blackout on reset. It does not turn off but restarts itself. If it does then there is a 50/50 chance it will enter a power cycle where it will never start. You can see it on the video. None of the components get lukewarm. All Pisi have been updated with the current firmware and restart even without a load. I contacted the manufacturer who asked me for a video. They were quick to ask a question but when I sent it I never got an answer. I had really high hopes for this as a Pi4 portable power supply. Unfortunately it doesn't work with RPI 4.
