I've had a really hard time with plant-based protein. As much as I want to love it, I can never get past the first two sips of the grainy, heavily sweetened black. I've tried mixing a little into smoothies or other foods and it just messed things up. After giving up for a while and then talking to a friend about my health, I decided to try another. After purchasing Herbalife I did some research on ingredients and found that their ingredients were not what I wanted. Folded protein is the best I have found with good quality ingredients and taste. The sweetness is soft and rich in my opinion. I've found the best consistency with unsweetened almond milk, 1 tablespoon of PB2, and a serving of my collagen powder. i don't like water The taste is bearable, but just doesn't go together. Sometimes I add a banana for saturation. Overall I feel like this protein helps me with energy, digestion and nutrition. I personally like to eat this 3-5 times a week, first thing in the morning or right after my evening workout when I don't feel like cooking.
