Review on πŸ“± CaseWe - Matte Black Flexible TPU Bumper Case Cover for Motorola Moto Z3 / Z3 Play - Compatible with Moto Mods by Tom Roberts

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Anyway, it works fine with most mods.

I'll try to leave feedback as unbiased as possible. This is the CaseWe Moto Z3/Z3 Play Bumper compatible with Moto mods. I am currently using it on a Z3 game. I also have another bumper case from Poetic that has been updated. First off I'll try to talk about the good: This bumper basically does what it's advertised to do and it's not very difficult to put on. It holds up very well and you have to put in a little effort to take it off, which is good because I don't have to worry about it jumping off my phone if I drop it. As for their moto mod compatibility claim, that's mostly true too; If you don't use gamepad mod or 360 camera mod, you can keep this bumper on your phone. The rest of the moto mods I've used, the five in the cricket machine pic (the bottom one is actually my other bumper case), they work fantastic with a few quirks here and there for battery and hasselblad mods. . Some people say they can't easily remove the battery modules when this bumper is installed because the lower part covers the recessed grip. After studying it very well, I found a way that works for me. In one of the lower corners, where the Hasselblad has the trigger, is a notch for the USB connection directly to some battery modules. I've found that with my fingernails (which I cut short) I can easily pop out the standard battery and turbo battery mods. On my other mod, the Jbl SB2 speaker, I was able to reach the groove because the bottom didn't completely cover it. When it came to the Hasselblad the notch was also closed and I kept pressing the shutter button which turned the camera on so I just grabbed the bulky bit next to the camera lens and ripped it off that way. The same with the projector. It was bulky enough to grab and remove. As for the cons, there are a few features that make it impossible for me to give this five stars. First, there's a slightly unsightly gap around the right side of my phone. I'm sure if it was an absolute problem I could put a heat gun on it and bend it a bit, but it looks a bit off when you can see a very thin streak of daylight across most of your right side (not only Inside). in terms of the gap of the fingerprint scanner, but of the entire phone. Another gap is at the very top of the phone. Right where the hole is for infrared or NFC or whatever the hole is, above the speaker and selfie camera, it has a slight curve. There is also an incompatibility with Moto 360 camera mod and Moto gamepad mod. This case makes the phone 1/4 inch wider around the perimeter of the phone. The gamepad modification is adapted to the standard Z3 or Z3 game without a case, so it is literally impossible to use the gamepad without first removing the bumper completely. The Camera 360 is also in a similar situation , in which it fits perfectly on a standard Z3 or Z3 game When you put the case on, the bottom of the round part of the camera and the top of the bumper collide and there's no way around that at the moment, unless we have reshaped it to create a notch at the top specifically for this camera mount. (Which would certainly weaken the bumper at the top as well, if they couldn't take a slight curve away from it, like they did around the fingerprint scanner.) In conclusion, if I had to pay full price, I'd say no , because I have a very small fixed income from a disability check and I probably just couldn't afford to put it on my phone bumper. 15€ is too expensive for me. With that much money I can eat and drink for a week. (But I'll address that because it's not really related to why this is a very affordable product, and for that I apologize.) I would recommend this bumper to anyone who uses their phone in a regular setting, home, or school . This case looks like it can handle simple bumps and falls. (like greasy french fries, hands drop when you take it out of your pocket at a fast food restaurant) Nothing too drastic like exercising or doing construction or house chores where something could hit you in the pocket you put it in keep the specified phone. . However, I wouldn't recommend it if you're the kind of person who constantly uses either of the two Moto mods, the 360 camera and the gamepad, as this bumper will end up spending more time away from the phone in that case. Many Thanks. Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you end up purchasing this as a consumer, I hope it serves you well and that you have fewer quirks than I do.
