Possible operator error: I don't know if the surface I've tried them on so far is suitable for gluing, but they don't hold space with minimal pressure. I hung magical garlands (loose) that weighed next to nothing in my plastic birthing pool. I would go back but I made sure they stayed long enough for the feed to slide over them and I know ice water is added to keep them pressurized. I also don't understand how these pins come out, they kept breaking at one end and bending inwards. I'll try them on another surface soon and update this review when performance improves.
