I actually bought it for my dog girl for Christmas and unfortunately she likes it very much. They are a good size (4.5 inches) with a nice fluffy appearance. Wounded, they rush across the tiled floor, twirling their little pink ponytails. When they encounter something, they change direction, which makes them even more realistic. The reason I say "unfortunately" is because while my hunting and herding dog loves to chase and capture them, they clearly aren't for pets. She's a natural born hunter (read "killer"), so her bite is quite powerful. This causes the little mice to crawl out of the plastic eyes (choking hazard), and then she quickly opens them with her jaws (more choking hazard, oh my!). I know they aren't marketed as pet toys, but just wanted to post this review in case there are other dog moms and dads wondering how much fun their "baby" would have if they chased them. You are right; just don't have to! Imagine giving your dog a toy he loves only to get it out of his mouth. :( Sad sad sad.
