Great glass teapot for personal use Glass teapot is a great feature

I wanted a glass teapot and a teapot for loose leaf and herbal teas and this is a great and affordable option for personal use. (I paid about $20 for a 20.3 ounce kettle). Also good for two. It has a nice traditional design, but the all-glass construction gives it a bit of a modern feel. I noticed some imperfections in the design in terms of symmetry and alignment of the handle and spout, but it appears to be handcrafted so I'm not surprised. I have absolutely no complaints considering the price and its general characteristics. A few tips: Pour slowly to avoid overflowing, and be sure to close or remove the lid as you pour to avoid accidentally popping it out. I've had a few spills and snapped calls when I was in a rush. The strainer is deep, but the teapot is relatively wide, so I think you need to make at least 12 ounces to get a decent brew. The glass screen has 12 small slots at the bottom for circulation, which isn't ideal but probably necessary to maintain strength. I tend to raise and reset the brewer once or twice during brewing to encourage better circulation. The glass is medium strength at best, so handle with care and caution, especially at the glass brewer. All is not lost if you break the strainer as it fits most standard stainless steel strainers (check your measurements), although you cannot use the lid while brewing. A reminder that it is not double walled/insulated. , so your tea will cool quickly unless you put it on a low heat that it can handle.
