This was very similar to another bookshelf I had previously for my 13" MacBook Pro (2015) that lasted a year and a half before the elastic lost its ability to hold the MacBook Pro shut hold space. This one was a lot cheaper. It fits the case well and I liked the look. But a month after I started using it, the zipper got stuck when I opened it. Pulling further broke a couple of my teeth Zipper and the zipper left cosmetic scars on the aluminum bezel of the MacBook screen (see photos) The plastic holding the case to the top of the MacBook also ripped shortly thereafter Quality seems to be much poorer Bad buy.
