I put my cell phone in the front pocket of my jeans. I decided I needed protection. It works. Unfortunately my friend didn't even hear it ring on the first phone call I made asking to check it out. There was no call recording or voicemail message. I received a call while my phone was in my pocket and I also received a text message. Although I want protection, I still want to receive calls and texts. So now I put the bag in my bag and put my phone outside so the bag is between me and the phone. This is how I receive calls and messages. If I'm concerned about security when making calls and texting, the phone fits in a pocket. I love it.
