I've tried compression stockings and they fit me much better. You can adjust the tension of the elastic which, if it is difficult to determine, is sewn into the bottom of the compression stocking. This sock is far superior to those I have tried in the past and with a strap it is much more effective than a single sock. This product is also of a much higher quality than most pure sock junk that sells for around $10. spend money on it; I'm glad I did.
