What you need! Works perfectly. This device ACCEPT (ie inputs) HDMI and WILL TRANSMIT (ie outputs) Red-Blue-Green Component Video and RCA Red-White Audio. It's irreversible. I used this to install a new XBOX360 that didn't have a component output compatible with our existing video projection system. The old XBOX360 had a dedicated component cable for the connector, but the new one didn't. I didn't want to redo our entire video system and this adapter did the trick. I also received it very quickly with Prime and we were only a few days late to get my son's new system up and running.
