This appears to be some sort of knockoff of Differin, a retinoid gel sold primarily as an acne treatment. But the active ingredient Dr. Adenosine is different (as opposed to Differin's adapalene) and is marketed as an anti-aging agent. Not to mention that it sells for a bit more. This is a retinal formula that is said to be stronger than retinol. I've used various retinol products in the past (my favorite is Skinceuticals 1.0%) and my skin has adjusted to the ill effects so I haven't had any redness or flaking. I've been using it for almost two weeks, which is probably not enough time to see tangible results, but I can say that it's similar to Differin in both texture and potency. My skin looks and feels a little smoother. I plan on continuing to use it every night until the little tube is gone, but I doubt I'll be buying it again.
