In less than a year and a half I had 3 breakdowns. Otherwise it will be a 5* product. Unlike some other reviewers, I like the variety of settings it has and I like its relative quiet compared to some other similar corded massagers. The seller claims a replacement under the warranty, but requires the goods to be returned to him for almost half the original value of the goods. Returns are a hassle and expensive, and I'd happily pay more upfront for a reliable product. Update 2 - for the new 3 button black cable version: I couldn't write a new review for this new model because I can't. Listed as a new model, so I've written an update to my old review. Bugs in the new design: I used this new version about a dozen times within the first 2 weeks of receiving it and the bugs quickly became apparent. When it's on, it often stops responding to pressing any of the buttons. Frequency mode button is unresponsive, intensity button is unresponsive, and power button is unresponsive - the massager stays on and does not turn off. It must be turned off to stop. When reconnecting, everything works fine for a while, but the problem keeps repeating itself. I also let it turn itself off and not turn back on until I unplugged it and then plugged it back in. Somehow plugging it in results in a reboot. Very different from the original model, although still listed as the same model: the original Styles II Mojo Massager white cable version was significantly better than this new one with the thin black cable and odd plug. (looks like a USB connector plugged into an adapter connector). The original only had 2 knobs, there was plenty of spacing between knobs, there was plenty of power, and it was noticeably quieter. The new three button version with black wire has 3 buttons; The button closest to the cord is the power button, the middle button selects heart rate mode, and the new top button changes speed/intensity (switches 8 speeds up and 8 speeds down). The original only had a bottom power button and a top frequency mode button with good spacing between them; It was easy to find the buttons by touching them. The new 3 button version has the buttons too close together and requires careful searching by touch or sight to avoid feeling or accidentally pressing the wrong button. While the intensity button gives the new version extra versatility, it only adds unnecessary complexity as the original was easier to use and was already tuned to the optimal speed/intensity. The new version is also noticeably louder. He doesn't feel the same either. The main disadvantage of the original two button white wire version was that the copper wires inside the power cord broke after a while at the base of the massager rendering it unusable (unless you are handy enough to track down the problem and to cut out the bad area and cut open and connect). Although the cable looked like a normal household electrical wire, there were far fewer strands inside, making it much thinner and weaker. A normal thicker copper wire in the cable would probably have prevented this. The new very thin black cable version will likely have the same problem and possibly faster because it bends much more easily; Bending them back and forth will break the wires. Mediocre customer support: I made the mistake of ordering this item directly from the Styles website instead of Revain to save a few bucks; I deeply regret this. This company does not have a warranty similar to Revain unless ordered from Revain. They do not offer refunds for products that are defective immediately after purchase or within 30 days like Revain. They don't offer 30-day free returns like Revain does. Your only option is to send it back at your expense and once received they will send another which may also be defective. The feel of the original version was my favorite. I wouldn't recommend the new model/version but if you want to try it buy it from Revain where they have a 30% money back guarantee.
