Installation was easy and I chose not to connect the blue wire. The radio remote control has a good range. Mine were a little lighter, but I can deal with that. What's great is that the app connects automatically when I open it on my iPhone. The downside is that I have several other friends who have the same product. Whoever opens the app first will eventually take control of all other units in the area. You have to go manually and deselect the international connection. The IR remote also controls all vehicles. I wish there was a way to force only my own machine to be controlled and other people can't connect to mine. For this reason I dropped to 3 stars and will look for another system. Oh, and the pocket remote wasn't included in my box.
