Revainrating 3 out of 5

But not bad. Suitable for chairs and seats

Pros: 1) Arrived quickly and very well packaged 2) Easy to assemble, especially if you have assembled office/work chairs before. The instructions are diagrams only (no written instructions) but they are clear enough to understand. 3) It's cute and our 11 year old loves it. We use it as a piano bench and it's perfect for that. Cons: 1) Not a big deal, but the back and seat of the chair are two different shades of pink. The plastic backrest is almost purple-pink, and the chair is closer to classic pink. It's not ugly at all. They just aren't a perfect match if it matters to you. 2) The hydraulic seat post is not attached anywhere. It simply plugs into the hole in the base and bottom of the chair. It seems sturdy enough, but I would be careful not to lift the chair to move it. 3) Hydraulics are VERY powerful. When we pushed the lever, the chair rose very quickly and with great effort. Dropping is a bit annoying. Probably too much for a child. Seat adjustment is best left as a "set and forgetโ€ option. 4) The wheels are a bit noisy and maybe too hard for wooden floors. We will replace them with roller skate wheels to make them quieter and save our floor. The original wheels will probably work well on carpet. All in all, not a bad buy, even if it's not perfect. This chair is half the price we looked at previously and with some upgraded wheels it will suit our needs.
