There are people who don't mind sleeping on crumpled sheets. They don't even bother you if the corners of the sheet slip off the mattress. My husband is one of those people. If this applies to you, then you do not need this product. Go on. BUT, if you're like me, you prefer a flat sheet that lies snug and flat under your sleeping body. Call it OCD what you will. . . Don't worry, just sell us these rubber bands and we'll be happy. I've been using cheap gussets for years and think they're great. The quality seemed to be declining so I tried this company's corner elastics with good results. Much better than cheap Chinese ones. When we bought a new mattress I noticed that it was a bit thicker than our old one and opted for longer elastics. I actually bought two sets and made "X" and "+". They were a bit tricky to install at first, but oh my god they work great! Following another reviewer's advice, I clipped it to my mattress pad when I needed to wash my sheets. It was a brilliant idea. Invest $40 in "Luxury Items". Was it worth it for me? Absolutely yes!
