Review on KINBOOFI TINHIFI T2 Plus: Cutting-Edge IEM Dynamic HiFi Headphones for Musicians and Audiophiles by Heidi Young

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Flat sound is great for music and speech/words (podcasts, movies, etc.)

sockets for bass and treble, resulting in excessive mid-frequency reduction. On the contrary, their frequency response is almost completely flat*, resulting in much more accurate sound reproduction. I prefer my music to play the way the sound engineers intended, so a flat frequency response is the only way. One benefit not mentioned in other reviews is that it's a perfect choice for listening to spoken word recordings such as podcasts. or even movies. The V-shaped frequency response certainly gets in the way of accurate speech reproduction, so the lack of peaks makes them really a good choice! While not many can base their purchases solely on performance for this type of content, it's certainly a nice benefit, and one that's hugely beneficial to me since >50% of my listening comes from this variety. (Alternatively, an active podcast listener may enjoy more mid-focus headphones, although this is fairly subjective.) I found it 100% unobtrusive in normal use. In fact, the only way I could tell that it existed at all was by playing test tones of a certain frequency one after the other. Even then, although I knew in advance that he was there, my experienced ears could barely discern his existence. Needless to say, no headphones are actually used in this way.
