I compared them and the T2 and the difference was immediately apparent. They don't sound as natural as the T2. It looks like they just took the T2's near-perfect sound signature and added a spike to the presence range, causing noise and an unnatural sound. But the cable is great. T2s with T3 cord is the ultimate budget setup.

At first I thought they were a bit cool so I used them for 40 hours (just set the CD to repeat, put them in the headphone amp and go :-) ) . Audio: Finally, a natural, flatter sound profile in a headphone. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed my share of V-shaped buds. Excellent headphones. I had several Audio Technica IEM headphones that I gave to my wife when I got the NuForce x Massdrop EDC headphones. These T2 Pros excel in both sound quality and comfort.
