Review on KINBOOFI TINHIFI T2 Plus: Cutting-Edge IEM Dynamic HiFi Headphones for Musicians and Audiophiles by Jacob Thorson

Amazing clarity with a more natural response profile

Audio: Finally, a natural, flatter sound profile in a headphone. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed my share of V-shaped buds. I have a few KZs that fit into this category and I like them for certain styles of music. However, this IEM set does not correspond to this profile. This is a much more natural and flatter sound profile. It has a profile that expects more from a headphone. If I can make a comparison with a specific model, they are somewhat reminiscent of the IEM version of Vidos. High frequencies, especially on them, are very detailed. The middle sounds soft and natural. Bass tends to lack detail compared to the KZ ZS6, but it's still exceptional quality for the price point of these headphones. As with all headphones, I prefer foam over silicone. This helps reduce the penetration quality a bit in the upper range. Construction: With a metal body and a quality mmcx cable, I'm really surprised at their price. They feel bulletproof. The gaskets for the mmcx connectors also seem sturdy. I know this has been a weak spot for some mmcx headphones in the past. Comfort: These headphones are quite comfortable with the right size foam ear tips.
