This tire does everything it says in the description. I bought two inner tubes along with inner tubes to replace rotten tires on my old Schwinn bike. I keep this bike in my cabin, so I ride most of the desert roads in northwestern Wisconsin. Neither are steep and mountain biking is optional, but rural Wisconsin spends about $50 a year on road works, so roads are in poor condition. Potholes and numerous tractor potholes galore make a durable bike tire a must. I've only been riding these tires for a few weeks but they seem worth the cost. A long time ago, when Schwinn bikes were still made in America by the Schwinn family, I was told that 26-inch Schwinn tires were not interchangeable with OEM tires. true, then why bother with a fake? So far, so good. As other reviewers have said, I don't want to be stuck with a flat tire on a back road in Wisconsin, so I appreciate the solid construction of these tires. Even though they are not made by Schwinn, they are made to Schwinn specifications.
