Spare tire is not the one in the photo

They sent the correct tire size but the profile does not match the one in the picture. They sent a mountain bike tire (with an aggressive thread pattern). I'm an old fogger and I ride a "comfortable" bike. This is a Schwinn bike (with Schwinn tires) but the spare tire that was sent is different from the one in the photo and on the bike.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Good tire for the price.

Good tire for the price. Easy install if you know what you are doing. Insert one side into the rim. Insert the tube into the tire. Then the other side of the tire. Start at the stem and work evenly on the opposite side. No directional arrow on tire or box. It's better to place the blunt end of the middle arrow in the direction of travel for better grip. The front tire doesn't matter. Select reverse or reverse for better braking on loose surfaces. They work great on my 25+ year trackโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Zero

I just received it so can't say much about it.

This is an exact replacement for a tire that was fitted to a bicycle many years ago. I removed the front tire and changed to a new rim. The bead has deteriorated and the metal wires within it have been exposed without my knowledge. These rubbed directly on the pipe and cut it. The original rubber was over 20 years old! When I removed the tire I found a problem with the old bead. This new tire looks great and should last for many years (I only drive 6-8 miles a week).

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • No Instructions

These tires just didn't hold up like my previous tires in tough conditions

Bought these tires in January 2018 and have put 1500 miles on them in 6 months. I had five punctures and cuts in that short time and also noticed that the tread wear was too high, at least compared to my previous tyres. Maybe they are soft rubber. I ride mostly on paved gravel roads and lots of small stones. These tires just couldn't stand up to the harsh environments of my previous tires. I'm definitely not a fan of these tires and will be switching to something else soon.

Cheap but not good quality. I won't buy this again. (See edit 11/24/2019)

It's a bunch but not good quality. One of them had two pieces of rubber. They clearly have poor quality control at the factory. I will use it but will not buy again. I'd rather spend a few euros more for a high-quality tire. Edit 11/24/2019: After installation I see that they are wobbly, so more than just a problem with visible rubber imperfections. I'm sending them back and reducing May's rating to 1 star. I think Schwinn isn't what he used to be. I will stick with Kenda or Sunlite in theโ€ฆ

looks cheap Feels cheap.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to definitely not recommend this product to any sane person reading this. When he walked through my door I was ready to replace him. But a simple test to make sure it would hold up was to feel it with my hands and the tires I was about to replace. The tires that lost air turned out to be even more durable than the ones I got from these guys. It even looks cheap. It will fall apart quicker than my newest ones which are good and durable but I can't find the

  • Not bad but...

**FRAUD - NO Schwinn tires - Packaged with Schwinn but INNOVA tires

Description says "spare" Schwinn tires. Coming back to the addendum, the description is very misleading. I felt like I was "replacing" my OLD Schwinn tires with NEW Schwinn tires. It wasn't like that. If they are "spare" tires then WHY do they use a Schwinn box? I didn't check the tires in detail by reading the sidewall before mounting them. I discovered this scam after installing them. Too much work to remove and return. That's why I'm writing this review. In my opinion the seller MUST make it

Fits my Schwinn bike

This tire does everything it says in the description. I bought two inner tubes along with inner tubes to replace rotten tires on my old Schwinn bike. I keep this bike in my cabin, so I ride most of the desert roads in northwestern Wisconsin. Neither are steep and mountain biking is optional, but rural Wisconsin spends about $50 a year on road works, so roads are in poor condition. Potholes and numerous tractor potholes galore make a durable bike tire a must. I've only been riding these tiresโ€ฆ
