Review on AUTOSAVER88 Headlight Assembly for 2004-2008 Ford F-150 | Chrome Housing, Clear Lens | Passenger & Driver Side by Danny Poulin

I got these to replace faded water soaked headlight housings on my 2004 F150. In my opinion they really improved the look of the truck. but that was just a bonus. I have yet to replace mine as the passenger side was full of standing water and failed the test. The shrouds themselves fit directly into the mounting holes on the truck - no problem. However, the turn signal socket of this product does not fit the standard plug. The original connector (from the truck) has a non-flush housing and interferes with the connection. Since the housing around the connector was very fragile (it's 15 year old plastic after all) I simply pryed it open with a screwdriver and broke it open until there was a loose connector that could easily be slid straight into the connector's socket. . Once I did that everything connected and worked great. Amazing price for a good upgrade. I switched from floor lamps to LEDs, which I also recommend.
