Review on ๐ŸŒ€ Versatile and Ultra-Convenient Personal Evaporative Cooler - Portable Air Conditioner with Cordless and Rechargeable Feature for Office and Room Cooling by Michael Alves

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great: heating, cooling and air quality

Some reviews say the instructions are unclear so here's how to set it up: Start charging the fan: Once you've got everything out of the box, you will do Note that it comes with a charging cable but no power plug. You'll need something to convert a standard USB port into a wall outlet - a spare phone charger plug will do. A flat compartment with a removable lid is the top of the air conditioner. The grille and controls are on the front, where the cold air exits. Connect the cable to the back and start charging with the adapter on the other end. You will see a red light indicating charging - the indicator will NOT turn green when fully charged. Fill the ice boxes: press the pill-shaped button to release the racks and carefully remove both. These are ice boxes. Each has a plug in the corner to prevent water from escaping when the ice melts. Remove the plugs and set them aside. Fill both drawers with water BELOW the line they added for the max. The plastic is opaque so it's hard to tell how full they are, but if you fill them to the max the ice will surely expand out of the hole. Leave a full inch of air above the water level to allow the ice to expand. Achieving the perfect fill can be a trial and error process. I do not recommend putting the corks back in until the boxes are completely frozen. Leaving them outside allows you to spill over without damaging the plastic. After the ice buckets are frozen and the fan is loaded: Put the plugs back into the corners of the ice buckets. Place the ice boxes back in the fan, caps up, as the ice will melt. Disconnect the charging cable and pour some tap water into the top compartment. Just a little - not completely filling. According to the instructions, only tap water should be used. Fan start: Rotate the knob to start the fan. There will be plenty of water during operation due to condensation, so placing everything on a plate or rimmed baking sheet is a good idea if your surfaces don't need to get wet. Water should not be poured out in large quantities, but it will be wet. Always keep the device upright to prevent water from getting on the fan parts. Works cool 3-5 hours. Hope that helps! In general I would say. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but it also performs better than expected. It cools an area of 5 feet. I want you to sit in front of him, it will help you feel comfortable. The room will not be cooled while you are away. I'm very happy with mine and am considering getting another to double the power.
