As hoped, this product is simply not needed. I have a 2019 BMW X5 and had two major issues with this product. First, it interfered with my driver's seat as it overlapped it. For me, that was the BIG problem. Second, the part of the "fin” that goes down between the seat and the armrest was too short, it had little to no support. Minor issues were that the cup holder is pretty much useless. I could hold one of the mini soda cans, but certainly not a full-size can of soda or any drink from a full-size fountain. I didn't send it back because I found a use for it in my office. Be careful if you decide to buy this item.
