After 24 hours I like it

Just received yesterday. I had an S10e for my personal phone which I didn't use very much as I usually use my work phone + I use MySMS to send text messages to my personal number which I did from my PC. However, I decided that I was going to be using my personal phone more, so I wanted something bigger. I don't play games or anything CPU/GPU intensive on my phone, so I figured that should fill the bill. Setup was easy. I use Nova Launcher Prime so I can customize icon size, layout etc to my liking. - I read some reviews where screen colors and pictures weren't the best. I think this is normal compared to my iPhone XR. Maybe not exactly the same, but close enough for me. Battery life is a strong point of this phone. I like the fingerprint sensor on the back. Easy to get with any of my index fingers. - The phone doesn't seem to have Face Unlock. Not a big deal, but it's handy on my iPhone, especially when I can use it for apps like my bank, etc. to log in. - Applications load quickly, there were no problems with it. - Made a few calls and they were clear - Used noise canceling bluetooth headphones to listen to music. There was an erratic lag a couple of times, but that could very well be due to the headphones. Let's see if this continues. Another thing I read in the reviews was the "cheap" look of the plastic back. Well, I'm using a case, so who cares? - If NFC and/or wireless charging are important to you then this isn't the phone for you (again note the price) as it doesn't have either. I don't really use NFC and when I do I use my Apple Watch or iPhone for it. I love wireless charging but I don't mind that I can't with this phone as I have to remove the metal plate that I use to attach the magnet to the car. Because the battery lasts so long, charging isn't that critical most of the time. Bottom line, for $250 (plus I used my credit card, so spread it out over 6 monthly payments with no interest), you can't go wrong. Flagship phones seem overkill for 90% of users these days. If I'm going to spend $1,000 or more on a phone, I want it to cook, do laundry and fold, and walk the dog β€” don't give me a few extra fps for a game I'm not even going to play.
